Selous is the biggest Game Reserve in Africa covering over 60,000
This Reserve was named after the British Naturalist and Explorer Frederick Courtney used the Selous Reserve to hunt at 1871.
Selous is home for wild dogs which can highly be seen in big numbers, elephants, buffalos, elands, giraffes and many more species of birds and animals.
The Rufiji River which divides the park tends to be the source of water during the dry season but also nice area for boat game tour while viewing hippos and many fish birds.
What to do:
Safari jeep 4WD with open roof for game drive, English speaking driver guide, accommodation as specified, 3 meals in a day, bath towels, nature walking safari, camping equipment (only sleeping bag may be listed as excluded).
